The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team dropped a heart-breaker to Forsan at Ropes on Tuesday, 2-3. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 11-4 overall on the season.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team won a thriller over the Ropes Lady Eagles on Tuesday night o the road, 3-2. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 12-4 overall on the season.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ JV football team took down the Denver City Mustangs, 20-14, on Thursday afternoon to advance to 2-0 overall on the season. With 8:41 to go in the first quarter, Littlefield put the ball on the turf and it was recovered by the Denver City defense.

The seasonal reserved Wildcat Football Tickets will be on sale now through Wednesday, August 31st at the Central Administration Offices, 1207 East 14th Street in Littlefield. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon), and again from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Olton Mustang’s varsity football team won a shutout over the Sudan Hornets on Friday, 49-0, in their home-opener. With the win, the Mustangs improve to 1-0 overall on the season, while the Hornets fall to 0-1.

The #21 Springlake-Earth Wolverines found themselves in a hole early in a 72-32 road loss to the #21 Whitharral Panthers in the UIL high school six man football season opener Friday night. Turnovers were a big factor in the win.
