Cobi Saldana finishes 55th at 3A Regional XC Meet

Littlefield sophomore, Cobi Saldana, represented the Lady Cat’s cross country team at the Class 3A Regional Cross Country Meet at Mae Simmons on Tuesday.Saldana finished 55th overall out of 174 runners, clocking a time of 13:54.90.

Hornetscome up short against Lockney, 57-42

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team came up short at home against Lockney on Friday, falling to the Longhorns, 5742.With the loss, the Hornets fall to 4-3 overall, 1-1 in district play.The Hornets totaled 469 yards of offense, including 212 passing yards and 257 rushing yards.

Lady Cats fall at home to Childress, 0-3

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team fell to the Childress Lady Cats last Saturday, 0-3; 18-25, 13-25 and 23-25.With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 16-12 overall, 1-3 in district play.

Lady Cats come up short against Idalou, 0-3

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team fell at home on Tuesday to the Idalou Lady Cats, 0-3; 18-25, 18-25 and 17-25.With the loss, the Lady Cats all to 16-13 overall, 1-4 in district play.

Hornets sting Crosbyton, 48-8, in district-opener

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team got District play started on the right foot on Friday, taking down Crosbyton, 488.With the win, the Hornets improve to 4-2 overall, 1-0 in district play.The Hornets totaled 543 yards, including 289 passing yards and 254 rushing yards.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team took care of business in their district-opener on Friday at home, as they took down the Slaton Tigers, 55-36.With the win, the Wildcats improve to 5-2 overall, 1-0 in district play.
