Mustangs fall short against Reagan County, 49-47

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team had their season come to an end on Tuesday, as they fell to the Reagan County Owls, 49-47, in the Class 2A- DI Regional Semi- Finals at Lamesa High School.With the loss, the Mustangs finish the season with a mark of 27- 5 overall on the year.

Wildcats run rule Roughnecks, behind stellar pitching performance from Green

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team, run ruled the Sundown Roughnecks on Monday, 10-0, behind a stellar pitching performance from senior, Chip Green, who struck out 12 batters on the night, giving up just one hit and one walk.With the win, the Wildcats improve to 3-2 overall on the year.

Hornets go 2-1 at Highland Park baseball tournament

The Sudan Hornet’s varsity baseball team competed in a tournament at Highland Park in Amarillo this past weekend, where they went, 2-1.The Hornets improved to 3-1 overall on the year.In their first game on Friday, the Hornets defeated Claude, 24-1.

Nettes finish 2-1-1 at Dimmit Tournament

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team competed in the Dimmitt Tournament this past weekend, where they went 2-1-1.The Nettes improve to 4-5-1 overall on the year.In their first game on Friday against Dalhart, the contest ended in a, 5-5, tie.

Littlefield varsity and JV Runners compete at Tulia
