Urbina headlines postseason honors for Olton basketball teams

The Olton Mustangs and Fillie were well represented in post-season honors, headlined by senior, Nate Urbina, making the TABC All-Region Team. Urbina was also District 4-2A Co-MVP, while senior, Jimmy Munoz, earned Co-Defenisve MVP honors for the district and freshman, Johnathan Cooper, was named the district’s Newcomer of the Year.

Green headlines post-season awards for Littlefield

The Littlefield Wildcats and Lady Cats’ varsity basketball teams were well represented with post-season honors, headlined by junior, Chip Green, who was an All-Region selection. On the girl’s side, junior, Ari Castillo, was the District 3-3A MVP, while on the boy’s side, juniors, Ryan Williams and Green were Co-District MVP’s.

Wolverines, Lady Wolverines represented on All-District teams

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines and Lady Wolverines’ basketball team were represented on the 2024 District 4-1A All-District teams, headlined by boys Offensive MVP, JJ Jaramillo. On the boy’s side, sophomore, Kaleb Castillo and senior, Isaiah Tovar, were first-team All-District selections.
