The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team had several girls earn postseason honors. Senior, Halee Toscano, and junior, Taytum Goodman, were firstteam All-District selections, while juniors, Emma Samaron, Sydney Furr, Jasmine Garcia and sophomore, Aryca Ibarra each earned Honorable Mention.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team took down the Dimmitt Bobcats at home on Saturday, 11-7, in non-district play. Jose Medina ripped a lead-off triple to right field on an error by Gabe Montalvo, but Isaiah Rodriguez got Edwin Macias to strike out looking for out number one.

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity baseball team run- ruled the Crosbyton Chieftains on Thursday, 25-2, at the Shorty Barlow Springlake-Earth Baseball Classic. Brody Langford got the Mustangs going in the top of the first inning with a single to left field, as Jake Soliz came on as the courtesy runner for the pitcher.
