The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team swept the first half of district play on Tuesday night with a, 16-4, run-rule victory over the Brownfield Cubs at Wildcat Field. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 13-6 overall, 4-0 in district play.

The Littlefield Wildcat and Lady Cats’ varsity track teams competed at the 3A Area Track Meet at Denver City with the boys placing fifth overall with 70 points and the girls finishing seventh with 47 points.

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team took down the Hale Center Lady Owls on Tuesday, 16-11. With the win, the Nettes improve to 2-13 overall on the season.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team fell short against the Brownfield Lady Cubs on Tuesday, 8-5, in their second meeting of district play. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 8-6 overall, 3-4 in district play.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team rallied back for a, 7-6, walk-off win over the Lamesa Golden Tornadoes at Wildcat Field on Saturday. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 3-0 in district play.

The Amherst Junior High track teams competed at the District Track Meet on Friday at Kress High School with the boys placing third overall with 121 points and the girls finishing seventh with six points.
