The Littlefield varsity track teams hosted the Wildcat Relays at Wildcat Stadium in Littlefield on Thursday. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 1st Linday Coffman 12.4 2nd Bryndle Ray 12.6 Boy’s 100-meter dash 2nd Mason Jones 10.9 5th Chip Green 11.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team opened district play on Tuesday at home with a win over rival Muleshoe, 10-0. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 1-0 in district play.

The Springlake-Earth varsity track teams competed at the Kress Relays on Friday with the Lady Wolverines taking first place overall with 154 points and the Wolverines finishing ninth with 13.5 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 10th Jessica Mendoza 15.

The Amherst varsity track teams competed at the Kress Relays on Friday with the Bulldogs taking fourth place overall with 68 points and the Lady Bulldogs placing seventh with 41 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 2nd Dennys Reyes 14.30 13th America Pacheco 16.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team dropped a tough contest to the 3A #6 Bushland Falcons on Tuesday, 3-0, at Wildcat Field in Littlefield. Bushland took a, 1-0, lead in the first inning, but the Wildcats started to make a little noise offensively in the bottom of the third inning.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team took down the Dimmitt Bobcats at home on Saturday, 11-7, in non-district play. Jose Medina ripped a lead-off triple to right field on an error by Gabe Montalvo, but Isaiah Rodriguez got Edwin Macias to strike out looking for out number one.
