The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity baseball team took down the Jayton Jaybirds in their second meeting of district play on Friday, 13-7. With the win, the Wolverines improve to 4-1 in district play.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team struggled on both sides of the ball on Saturday afternoon, as they fell to the Denver City Mustangs, 10-0, in their first meeting of district play. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 0-2 in district play.

The Olton varsity track teams competed at the Son Qualls Relays at in Sudan on Friday, March 31st with the Mustangs placing fifth overall with 60 points and the Fillies finishing eighth with 29 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 10th Amie Beelitz 13.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines won a thriller over the Crosbyton Chieftains on Friday, as they walkedit off with a, 16-15, victory at Wolverine Baseball Field. With the win, the Wolverines are 21 in district play on the year.
