The Bowl Blowout Challenge is winding down with only the National Championship game yet to be played.

The Bowl season has been a wild one, with upsets, overtime games and games going down to the wire.

Appalachian State took down North Texas in the Myrtle Beach Bowl, 56-28, while Nevada defeated Tulane, 38-27, in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. #16 BYU took down UCF, 49-23, in the Boca Raton Bowl, while Georgia Southern routed Louisiana Tech, 38-3, in the New Orleans Bowl.

Memphis took down Florida Atlantic, 25-10, in the Montgomery Bowl, while Hawaii defeated Houston in the New Mexico Bowl, 28-14. Buffalo edged out Marshall in the Camellia Bowl, 17-10, while Liberty stunned #12 Coastal Carolina in overtime, 37-34, in the Cure Bowl.

In the First Responder Bowl, #19 Louisiana defeated UTSA, 31-24, while Georgia State took down Western Kentucky, 39-21, in the Lending Tree Bowl and #21 Oklahoma State shocked # 18 Miami in the Cheez-It Bowl, 37-34.

Number 20 Texas blasted Colorado in the Alamo Bowl, 55-23, while Wisconsin took care of Wake Forest in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl, 42-28. Oklahoma stunned Florida in the Cotton Bowl Classic, 55-20, while Mississippi State stunned #24 Tulsa, 28-26, in the Armed Forces Bowl.

Ball State blasted #22 San Jose State, 34-13, in the Arizona Bowl, while West Virginia edged out Army in the Liberty Bowl, 24-21.

Georgia rallied past Cincinnati, 24-21, in the Peach Bowl, while #14 Northwestern downed Auburn, 35-19, in the Citrus Bowl. Kentucky defeated #23 North Carolina State in the Gator Bowl, 23-21, while Ole Miss stunned #11 Indiana, 26-20, in the Outback Bowl.

Number 10 Iowa State took down Pac-12 champion #25 Oregon, 34-17, while #5 Texas A&M blasted North Carolina in the Orange Bowl, 41-27.

In the College Football Play-off Semi-Finals, #1 Alabama defeated #4 Notre Dame, 31-14, in the Rose Bowl, while Justin Fields and # 3 Ohio State dismantled #2 Clemson, 49-28, in the Sugar Bowl.

The current standings are as follows:

Leading the pack right now is Tommy Cloninger with 20 points, while Mark Grace, Robin Cooper, Kay Cloninger and Lonnie Neinast are in second place with 19 points each and Juan Hernandez and Floyce Pierce follow in third with 18 points each.

The National Championship game is set for Monday, Jan. 11th at 7 p.m.
