Amherst Lady Bulldogs run hard at Lubbock Meet

The Amherst varsity girl’s cross country team competed at the Lubbock ISD Cross Country Invitational, where they finished 13th overall as a team with a total time of 1:34:37.9.

The Lady Bulldogs were led by junior, Dennys Reyes, who finished 13th overall, clocking a time of 14:42.7. Senior, Nancy Rubio, finished 61st overall with a time of 17:35.4, while sophomore, Nevaeh Esquibel, finished 88th with a time of 20:42.7.

Sophomore, America Pacheco, finished 89th with a time of 20:48.1, while junior, Maricella Gonzalez, finished 90th with a time of 20:49.2, and freshman, Itzel Villa, finished 92nd with a time of 23:10.8.
