Disaster declaration follows Nicholas Seventeen Southeast Texas counties have been declared disaster areas after Hurricane Nicholas came ashore, dumping more than a foot of rain and cutting off power to a half-million customers in Texas, according to poweroutage.us. That number had been reduced to about 4,200 as of Sunday.

We Don’t Have All The Answers ...

Does God control the future? Is God sovereign? Do people have freedom to make their own decisions? Are we morally responsible? If God enables us to have faith, why do some believe and others don’t? I hear questions like this in church and outside of church. The questions are good ones.

To the Patrons of Littlefield ISD: It is hard to believe we have completed three weeks of school! Our students and staff will be out of school on Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day. School will resume at regular time Tuesday, September 7.

To the Patrons of Littlefield ISD: School got off to a great start! I was pleased with our first week and it was certainly good to see our students getting back into their routine of their day-to-day schedule. Kudos to the entire “Littlefield ISD staff” for making our first week back a huge success! Now that school is back in session, please be cognizant of the school buses and our students who are crossing at lunch in our crosswalks.
