I don’t know what your state of encouragement is at this moment.

It’s possible you might have received some really good news these last few days, it might also be that at your house peace and harmony can be felt. I would like for this to be true.

I also know that for many these days are very difficult. An anniversary on which a beloved person passed away. Or a family has recently passed away or someone may be critically ill. It would be absorb if this is your situation and we would say: happy celebrations.

I searched for some passages in the Bible that might help us to live some celebrations that would not affect our encouragement. Let’s read Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot.” In other words nothing is permanent in this life and suffering does not have a date to become present, the same as happiness.

A passage that I believe helps us is in Romans 12:15 “Rejoice with the ones that rejoice; cry with the ones that cry.”

It is my desire that God protect you and if you are going through a difficult time, may He be your strength.

We have to continue ahead and we know that these celebrations are only for a time and then we return to our routine.

It would be a big blessing for the ones that take advantage and get closer to God.

It is a challenge that I am accustomed to doing at the church I am pasturing. Weather we believe in Christmas or not, this celebration at the end of the year is the most popular and children are in expectation of it. I love you in Christ and may you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2024.
