WANDA MAE LACKEY

Wanda Mae Lackey, 90, of Littlefield, Texas went to her Heavenly home on Friday, March 1, 2024. She was born June 19, 1933 in Oklahoma to Bud and Hazel White. She married J.B. Lackey August 15, 1956 in Littlefield, TX.

Wanda enjoyed gardening. She liked to play dominoes with her friends, and to indulge in a coke from Sonic. She loved her family deeply and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. She didn’t often pass up the opportunity to go shopping. She never met a stranger and to know her, was to love her. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Littlefield.

Wanda is survived by a son, Michael Lackey of Dallas, TX; a daughter, Jacalene Edwards of Littlefield, TX; and two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Trace Edwards.

Funeral services were held Monday morning, March 4, 2024 at Grace Chapel in Littlefield, TX with Pastor Tanner Wilson presiding. Interment followed in Littlefield Memorial Park.
