Tyler Obed Thompson, 21, of Littlefield, Texas, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024. Tyler was born December 24, 2002 in Littlefield, Texas to Matthew and Monica Thompson.

Tyler was a 2021 graduate of Littlefield High School. He was an active member of Littlefield First Baptist Church Youth Group. He enjoyed playing video games, photography, and spending time with his friends. He was a car enthusiast and especially liked Chevy Camaros. He was loving, calm, friendly and he never met a stranger. He will be known for giving the coziest hugs.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Matthew and Monica Thompson of Littlefield, Texas; a brother, Triston Thompson of Littlefield, Texas; a sister, Mila Thompson of Littlefield, Texas; grandparents, Magdalena Sanchez of Woodward, Oklahoma, Gary and Michelle Thompson of Amarillo, Texas, and Karen and Terry Mullins of Littlefield, Texas; aunts and uncles, Jose Luis Campoya and wife, Patty of Wichita, Kansas, Chris Thompson of Littlefield, Texas, Aaron Thompson of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Jared Thompson of Austin, Texas; a first cousin, Zarah Compoya; and many extended aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by great grandmother, Ophelia Kerby; great grandfather, Gumercindo Sanchez; and great aunts, Silvia Sanchez and Sharon Thomas.

Celebration of Life Services were held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Littlefield with Pastor Tanner Wilson and Pastor Terry Sanders officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Nick Holbert, Chris Love, Jordan Thomas, AJ Cristan, Alonzo Gonzalez and Armando Vega. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
