Teresa Pedroza, 85, of Olton, died Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in her home, in Olton, Texas. Rosary was said Friday, May 24, 2024, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, in Olton. Mass was celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2024, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, with Fr. Reymundo Manriquez officiating. Interment followed at Olton Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Teresa was born on June 29, 1938, in Guatimape, Durango, Mexico. She married Luis Pedroza on August 22, 1957, in San Luis Potosi. In 1977, Luis and Teresa moved to Olton from Chicago. Teresa was a housewife and a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Teresa enjoyed singing, dancing, tequila, and the holidays.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter; son-inlaw; and nephew.
Survivors include her two sons; five daughters; and her sister; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
