Shirley Anne Nicholas, 91, of Plainview and formerly of Olton, died Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Olton. Graveside services were held Wednesday morning, May 13, 2026, at Olton Cemetery with Mr. David Pinkerton and Mr. Callen Pinkerton officiating. Arrangements were under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Anne was born Feb. 17, 1935, in Plainview to Floyd and Ineta (Wilkinson) Dennis. She married Buster Nicholas on Dec. 14, 1951, in Olton. Anne owned and operated Northside Gifts in Olton and later Designs By Anne in Plainview for more than thirty years. A gifted seamstress, she made countless twirling costumes and wedding dresses through the years and was known for her creativity and artistic talent. In 1992, she moved to Plainview from Olton and was a member of Northwest Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three brothers.
Survivors include her daughters and their spouses; two sisters; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
