Sarah Nell Tollett, 83, of Littlefield, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born February 5, 1941, in Lubbock, Texas to Ralph and Nell Thompson. She married Tom Tollett on August 21, 1959.

Sarah was a Red Raider fan and worked in the Texas Tech University Library. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. She was a fantastic storyteller with an infectious giggle and a beautiful smile. She was sweet and loving. You would often hear her singing hymns. She liked to work in her yard and watch old western movies. She enjoyed traveling with Tom. She treasured the time she spent with her sisters, children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She loved her family dearly.

Sarah is survived by two daughters, Cari McCurry and husband, Eddie of Littlefield, Texas, and Kim Roesler and husband, Brad of Maypearl, Texas; a sister, Janice Moore of Plano, Texas; six grandchildren, David McCurry and wife, Alexis of Lubbock, Texas, Deric McCurry of San Antonio, Texas, Preston Bowen and wife, Christine of Houston, Texas, Braydn Roesler of Maypearl, Texas, Hallie Roesler of Hoboken, New Jersey, and Heath Roesler of Maypearl, Texas; seven great grandchildren, Dawson, Loran, Hagen, Tobias, Dallas, Reagan and Steeley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Tollett; a brother, Alan Ralph Thompson; a sister, Patti Faulkinberry and a grandson, Randy Kale McCurry.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday morning, September 3, 2024, at Grace Chapel in Littlefield, Texas. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.
