Sarah Faye Tillman

Sarah Faye Tillman, 69, went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2024. She passed away in her home in Manvel, TX. She was born in Brownfield, TX on May 13, 1954 to Walter Cleveland Martin and Wilma Jean Horton, both now deceased.

Sarah moved to Lubbock, TX in the late 1980s, and remained in the area for most of the following 30 years. She worked as a paraprofessional at Frenship ISD for 25 years and as a caregiver for Visiting Angels. She took in many struggling kids throughout her adulthood, giving them a loving and safe place to call home for as long as they needed one, and generously offered up anything else she had to those in need-even during times when she had little to offer. She was generous, kind, and freely showed God's love to everybody she encountered, never meeting a stranger.

Sarah was preceded in death by daughter, Melody Theressa Pesina, in 2021. She lovingly vowed her life in marriage to Tommy Tillman, in 2013, and remained with him to the moment of her passing.

Sarah leaves behind husband, Tommy and three children: Shannon Rice, Hollie O'Neil, and Rachel Ramirez. She also leaves behind three brothers, one sister, and dozens of grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom loved and adored her.

Sarah's interment will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Lubbock, TX, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved, departed father.
