Ruby Fulenwider, 81, of Springlake, died Sunday, July 28, 2024, in Lubbock, TX. A memorial service was held Thursday morning, August 1, 2024, at the First Baptist Church, in Springlake, TX, with Brother Rob Norris officiating and under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Ruby was born Dec.r 31, 2024, in Sudan, TX, to Vernie “Dink” and Claudia (Crossland) Cantrell. Ruby married Jimmie Fulenwider on Oct. 19, 1959. Ruby was an employee at the Pay-N-Save in Earth and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Springlake. In her earlier years, Ruby loved sports and enjoyed playing softball and attending area sporting events. Ruby enjoyed painting and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter; four brothers; and five sisters.
Ruby is survived by her husband; her son; her daughter; a brother; three sisters; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
