Rolando "Gordy" Casas 59, of Littlefield, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023 in Littlefield. He was born December 29, 1963, in Amherst to Adam and Juanita Casas. He married Margarita Espinoza Casas on October 19, 2018 in Littlefield.

Rolando was a quick witted, and feisty man. He had a great sense of humor and was outspoken. His smile was contagious and people couldn't help but to gravitate to him. He was an avid softball player on the "Outlaws". He loved being outside, spending time building things and working on cars. He enjoyed going to concerts. One of his favorite things to do was going cruising while listening to music. He loved very much being "Grumps" to his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Margarita Casas; two daughters, Marci Casas of Lubbock, TX, Miranda Viljoen and husband, Jan Stephanus of Lubbock, Texas; two grandchildren, Bella and Brecken Viljoen of Lubbock, Texas; one brother, Adam Casas of Littlefield, Texas; six sisters, Norma Arredondo of Midland, Texas, Nora Casas of Midland, Texas, Lora Casas of Littlefield, Texas, Mary Ann Garza of Midland, Texas, Melinda Casas of Odessa, Texas and Jennifer Aguirre of Denton, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Juanita Casas; a brother, Reynaldo Casas; and a daughter, Esperanza Casas.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
