Nell Cook, 90, of Amherst, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Littlefield. She was born April 29, 1935, to Abraham B. and Ruby Lee (Guinn) Enloe in Sunnyside, Texas.
Nell married her high school sweetheart, R.J. Cook on July 29, 1951. Nell was a farmer's wife, a dental assistant, and loving mother to her three daughters. She loved singing, sewing, cooking, and flower arranging. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Amherst. Her greatest pleasure was spoiling her five grandchildren and 10 great grandkids.
She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Reecer of Amarillo, Claudia Cook of Amherst, and Becky Miller of Littlefield; grandchildren, Lauren Wolfram, Jordan Reecer, Jennifer Bellar, Russell Miller, and Richard Miller; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Genny Park, Edith Bryant, and Jo Schultz; brothers, A.B Enloe and Raymond Enloe; and son-in-law, Rick Miller.
Private Graveside Services will be held at Littlefield Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to the First Baptist Church Amherst, Texas. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home.
