MONICA MACHA

Monica Macha, 88, passed away with family by her side March 3, 2024.

A Mass of Christian Burial Service was held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at San Ramon Catholic Church. Burial followed at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.

Monica was born December 1, 1935 in Littlefield, TX to Laurence and Clara Albus. She graduated from Pep High School and attended Texas Tech University before completing her certification in cosmetology. Monica married Felix Macha on February 5, 1957 in Pep, Texas. She was a homemaker and working wife of a farmer in Lubbock most of her life and was a member of San Ramon Catholic Church. Monica devoted her life to her family and church. She was a talented seamstress, quilter, gardener, painter, do-it-your-selfer, crafter and a master in the kitchen.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to San Ramon Catholic Church of Woodrow or Hospice of Lubbock.
