Michael Dewbre, 50, of Littlefield, Texas passed away December 4, 2023 in Levelland, Texas. Michael was born July 2, 1973 in Morton, Texas to James and Sheila Dewbre. He married Johanna Buster June 9, 2007 in Littlefield, Texas.

Michael was owner/operator of Dewbre Transport. He enjoyed swimming and loved being in the water. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Michael loved his family dearly and spending time with them. He was affectionately known as "Papa Smurf" and "Papaw" to his grandchildren. He was a great dad, an amazing provider, and a loyal friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Michael is survived by his wife, Johanna Dewbre of Littlefield, Texas; two sons, Tyson Dewbre and wife, Shelby of Amarillo, and Tanner Dewbre and wife, Anna of Slaton, Texas; six daughters, Allie Gainer and husband, David of Lubbock, Texas, Shae Dewbre of Lubbock, Texas, Alex Dewbre, Arianna Dewbre, Miley Dewbre, and Jayda Dewbre all of Littlefield, Texas; six grandchildren, Berkley, Lilia, Laramy, Dallas, Kaysen and Fox; a sister, Tamra Dewbre of Littlefield, Texas; his mother, Sheila Dewbre and husband, Mike Stewart of Littlefield, Texas; his father, James Dewbre of Morton, Texas; his mother-in-law, Sharon Buster of Littlefield, Texas; a brother-in-law, Oscar Lopez; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Buckner Children's Home (129 Brentwood Ave, Lubbock, TX 79416) and Kingdom Kids at First Baptist Church in Littlefield, Texas (400 East 6th St, Littlefield, TX 79339).

Memorial Service was held Friday morning, December 8, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Littlefield, TX with Pastor Tanner Wilson officiating. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.
