MARTIN ESQUIVEL

Martin Esquivel, 58, of Olton, died Friday, February 16, 2024, in Plainview, Texas. Rosary was sail Wednesday evening, February 21, 2024, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton. Mass was celebrated Thursday afternoon, February 22, 2024, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Olton with Fr. Reymundo Manriquez officiating. Interment followed at Olton Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Martin was born March 6, 1965, in Abernathy, Texas, to Esteban Jr. and Juanita (Sanchez) Esquivel. A lifetime Olton resident, Martin was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Never having children of his own, Martin helped raise and care for his nieces and nephews. He coached his nephew and other community kids in baseball for over seven years and helped at many a stock show. He enjoyed listening to music, watching action movies, and grilling out.
