Maria Del Bosque, 77, of Earth, Texas, died Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Earth. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2026, at IDP Church in Earth with Pastor Angie Castillo officiating. Interment followed at Earth Memorial Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Maria was born Dec. 22, 1948, in Beeville, Texas, to Martin and Maria (Bosque) Sanchez. She married Juan “Johnny” Gallegos on April 18, 1984. In 1983, she moved to Earth from O’Donnell, Texas, where she made her home for more than four decades. She worked as a clerk at Allsup’s in Earth for 10 years.
Maria cherished the time she spent with her cousins while growing up, and throughout her life, her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and a sister.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, and a son-in-law; two brothers, and a sister-in-law; five sisters; six grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
