Margaret Dutton, 79, of Littlefield, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023. She was born August 15, 1944 in Beaumont, Texas to Clarence Carr and Nona Ely.

Margaret married Ronald Dutton on September 19, 1960 in Littlefield. She worked for the Littlefield Independent School District as a teachers aide until she retired.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Ronald Dutton of Littlefield; three daughters, Cherie Blewett, Marsha Hargrove and husband, Mike, and Sandra Williams and husband, Wes; three grandchildren, Nicole Hargrove, Keith Hargrove and fiance Nancy, and Spencer Williams; and one sister, Joyce McCown of Lumberton, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, J.C. Carr and Bill Carr; sisters, Lola Dearman and Ruth Coffey; and son-in-law, Tommy Blewett.

The family will have a private service for Margaret, with interment in Littlefield Memorial Park Cemetery. A public memorial will be at a later date. Funeral services were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Idalou, Texas.
