In Loving Memory Of Margaret Ann Dutton

A Celebration of Life Service for Margaret Ann Dutton will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 in the chapel of First Baptist Church in Littlefield. She passed away Dec. 13, 2023, at Lamb Healthcare Center.

Margaret spent her early years in Beaumont and moved to Littlefield as a young teenager. She met Ronald Dutton at church and they married on September 19, 1960.

She was both a mother and a friend to her three daughters, Cherie, Marsha, and Sandra. She loved her sons-in-law Tommy, Mike, and Wes as much as she loved her daughters. Margaret was blessed with three grandchildren Nicole, Keith, and Spencer. She loved sharing all their accomplishments with her friends.

Margaret learned through her own experience what a difference a good education could make. She knew firsthand that school wasn't easy for everyone so she made it her mission to be a mentor to the students of Littlefield ISD for 24 years. She strived to make a difference in all the lives she touched. She often volunteered in the community and her church but never wanted recognition.

Margaret survived the threat of cancer twice. It was only Alzheimer's disease that she could not conquer. It's our greatest wish that Alzheimer's disease never touches another person.
