Chapel service for Manuel H. Limon, Sr., 75, of Sudan, who died Monday, Nov. 25, 2019 in Lubbock, was held Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 27, at Ellis Funeral Home in Sudan, with Deacon Doroteo Garcia of Littlefield officiating.

Rosary was said at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26 at Ellis Funeral Home in Sudan.

Burial was in the Sudan Cemetery with Ellis Funeral Home of Sudan in charge of arrangements.

Manuel was born March 27, 1944 in Crystal City, to Pedro and Margarita (Herrera) Limon. He married Rosa Martinez in Muleshoe on Feb. 27, 1977.

Manuel was of the Catholic faith and played guitar and enjoyed singing.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Juana, Maria and Nicolasa; and three brothers, Jesus, Nicolas and Guadalupe.

Manuel is survived by his wife, Rosa; four sons, Manuel Limon Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Sudan, Jose Manuel Limon of Sudan, Antonio Limon and his wife, Reyna of Sudan, and Joe Martinez of Lubbock; three daughters, Dalia Limon Mireles and her husband, Jorge of Amarillo, Angelica Ramirez of Muleshoe, and Barbara Limon and her husband, Anthony Rodriguez of Sudan; brother, Lazaro Limon of Sudan; 19 grandchildren; and two2 great-grandchildren.
