LULA MARIE MARR

Lula Marie Marr, 94, of Shallowater, Texas passed away August 7, 2023.

She was born June 8, 1929 in Dean, Texas to Clarence and Lula Brown.

Marie graduated from Anton High School in 1946. She met Gus Marr, and married in 1948.

Marie was a talented artistic woman. She enjoyed making beaded jewelry, she won several awards at the county fair. She sewed and was a talented cake decorator. She was a dedicated farmer’s wife, and helped in everyway she could.

Funeral service was held Friday morning, August 11, 2023 at Broadview Baptist Church with Dr. David Rhoades officiating. Graveside services followed in City of Lubbock Cemetery.
