Luis "Porky" Cristan, Sr., 78, of Littlefield, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 in Littlefield. He was born August 25, 1944 in, Robstown, Texas to Primitivo and Francisca Cristan.

He married Josephine Cristan July 26, 1965. He spent most of his years working in the construction and concrete industry. He enjoyed spending time with family, watching old western movies, and staying occupied on any project that involved working with his hands.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Josephine Cristan; four sons and one daughter, Mike Cristan and wife, Sandra of Littlefield, Luis Jr. Cristan and wife, Dina of Littlefield, Jerimiah Cristan and wife, Yolanda of Littlefield, Victor Cristan of Littlefield, and Irma Arredondo of Pleasanton, Texas. Grandchildren, Michelle Acevedo and husband, Sal Acevedo, Melissa Foley and husband, Tanner, Mikey Cristan and wife, Denise, Justin Luis III, Danielle, Hillary, Heather, Donovan, and Dereck Cristan all of Littlefield; CJ Arredondo and wife, Veronica of Pleasanton, Texas and Tiffany Arredondo of Pleasanton, Texas; twenty-four great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a sister Janie Espinoza and husband, Rudy of Littlefield; and many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Portfirio Cristan, Nate Cristan, Felix Cristan, Sr., Jose Cristan, Sr., Gomisindo Cristan and Gringo Cristan; four sisters, Olivia Rangel, Petra Leal, Elvira Frias, and Goya Delgado.

Rosary and viewing was held at Hillcrest Funeral Home on August 30, 2022. Funeral Services were held at Trinity Church on August 31, 2022 at 11 am, with Ray Serna leading services. Interment followed in Littlefield Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers were Mikey Cristan, Brian Acevedo, Luis Cristan III, Justin Cristan, Sal Acevedo, and Tanner Foley. Honorary Pallbearers were Kreed Cristan, Derek Cristan, Donovan Cristan, CJ Arredondo and Joe Paul McCanick.
