In Loving Memory Of Wendy Lynn Young

Wendy Lynn Young, age 57, of Nazareth, Texas, went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 5, 2025. Memorial Mass was held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth, Texas.

Wendy was born on August 26, 1967, in Houston, Texas, the beloved daughter of Glen and Joann Bulls. She grew up in Earth, Texas, and graduated from Springlake-Earth High School in 1985. Wendy met the love of her life, Steve Young, in Amarillo, and they married on September 7, 2002. Together, they moved to Nazareth, where they raised their two boys, Brett and Will Young.

After attending South Plains College and West Texas A&M University, Wendy obtained her teaching degree and embarked on a career spanning over two decades. She was in her 23rd year of teaching Special Education and was currently teaching at Tulia Elementary. Wendy also shared her passion for teaching at six other schools throughout the Texas Panhandle. She was deeply committed to her students and loved children, always showing her affection to them and leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. Wendy treasured visiting Oklahoma, being on the farm, and raising cows. Her greatest joy was watching Brett and Will play football, baseball, and show cattle.

Wendy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lola and Joe Leon "Bill" Middleton; paternal grandparents, Crill and Minnie Bulls; maternal uncle, Gerald Middleton; cousin, Scott Middleton; and parents-in-law, Boyd and Kay Young.

Wendy will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Steve; her sons, Brett Young (Sidney) and Will Young; her parents, Glen and Joann Bulls; her brother, Clay Bulls (Melissa); her brother-in-law, Layne Young (Jamie); as well as her nieces, Abbie Bulls, Anndee Young (Brennan), Brystol and Hadlee Skaggs; her nephews, Jonah and Ethan Bulls, Landry Young, and Jace Watkins; and other beloved family members. Wendy was very much loved by her dearest friends Karen Harmon, Ranell Ansley, and Susan Murray, along with many others who cherished her presence in their lives. Wendy was also loved by her countless friends and colleagues.
