Robert Dale Graves, 73, of Plainview passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 in Plainview. He was born June 16, 1948 in Stanton, Texas to Gordon Ray Graves, Sr. and Margarette Reed Graves.
After high school graduation, Dale attended WT, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy. He enjoyed agriculture, and was a farmer. He also worked as a machinist for VTS & Birkelbach Pump. He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Littlefield.
Dale is survived by four sons, Jamie Graves, Cory Graves, Yancy Graves and Zachary Graves all of the Dallas area; five grandchildren; a brother, Gordon Graves and wife, Janice of Spade, TX; a sister, Elaine Williams of Ozona, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family members.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Littlefield Memorial Park with Pastor Terry Sanders officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jamie Graves, Cory Graves, Yancy Graves, Clay Graves, Tyler McGann and Troy McGann. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littleifeld.
