Junior Domingo “Santos” Saenz, 70, of Littlefield, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday, January 31, 2022. He was born January 20, 1952 to Santos and Simona Saenz in Littlefield. He traveled many places but he always returned to his family in Littlefield.
Santos worked for his brother, at Raymond’s Concrete Company for many years. He loved to hunt but found his greatest peace on the shore of the lake with a pole in the water. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He had a great sense of humor and was always quick with a story.
Santos is survived by his son, Lorenzo Saenz and wife, Cory of Littlefield; granddaughter, Zoey Saenz of Lansing, Michigan; grandsons, Jasper Collins, James Saenz, Randie Saenz and Jacob Rodriguez all of Littlefield; sisters, Janie Villarreal, Sally Saenz, Dora Carrillo and husband, and Teresa Chaves and husband all of Littlefield; sister-in-law, Irene Saenz of Littlefield; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Simona; his wife, Margaret Saenz; his sons, LeRoy and Junior Saenz; his daughter, Sonia Saenz; sisters, Esparanza Castillo and Delores Saenz; brothers, Raymon Castillo and Joe Saenz.
Celebration of Life services were held Thursday morning, February 3, 2022 at Grace Chapel in Littlefield with John Collins officiating. Pallbearers were Micheal Chaves, Junior Carrillo, Eric Saenz, Andrew Santos, Josh Villarreal and Joseph Castillo. Honorary pall-bearers were Jasper Collins, James Saenz, Randie Saenz and Jacob Rodriguez. Cremation arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
