In Loving Memory Of Irene Bosquez

April 29, 1962 - June 1, 2019

Irene  Bosquez, age 57, of Littlefield, passed away on June 1, 2019. A Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2019 in the Hammons Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Brian Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Littlefield Memorial Park under the direction of Hammons Funeral Home.

Irene was born on April 29, 1962 in Littlefield, Texas to Leonard and Isidra (Rios) Marquez. She worked for many years as a home health provider for the elderly, a CNA at nursing homes, and making delicious food in cafeterias. She was a very hard worker, dedicated to all her employers, and would work double shifts any time she was needed. She was working at the Lubbock Heart Hospital in housekeeping and as a surgical tech at the time of her passing.

Irene loved to ›oke around and make others laugh. She loved her family, most especially her mom, Isidra. She en›oyed living life to the fullest. She helped raise her nephew, Robert Marquez, but she loved all her nieces and nephews as her own. She loved listening to music, dancing, and singing. She loved shopping, but purses and shoes were her passion. Her dogs, Tank and Chi›uita and cat, Tommy were loved just like children. She loved dressing up and applying her make-up to perfection.

Irene is survived by her mother, Isidra Marquez; sisters, Janie Aguilar and husband, Manuel, Rosalinda Hendrick and husband, Darrel, Nancy Sanchez and husband, Manuel, Lupe Zambrano and husband, Ted, Connie Castillo and husband, Johnny Jr., brother, Leonardo Marquez Jr and wife, Dora› and numerous nieces and nephews.

Irene was preceded in death by her father,  Leonardo Marquez.
