In Loving Memory Of Eddy Mack Ballard

Eddy Mack ›Macky› Ballard, 78 passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019, in his home in Cedar Creek, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Eddy died after a very brief bout with cancer.

He leaves his wife of 55 years, Paula ›McClellan› Ballard› his daughter, Toni Crippen and husband, Mark Crippen› his son, Steven Ballard and wife, May Ballard› three granddaughters, Megan Crippen, Sara Ballard-Brannan and husband, Cullen Brannan, and Cori Ballard› his brother, Marvin Ballard and wife, Shirley Ballard› numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Born in Amherst to Marvin Cecil Ballard and Alma Lee ›Berry› Ballard, Eddy was raised in Sudan, Texas. He graduated from Sudan High School where he played all sports and held the positions of Class President, Basketball Sweetheart and Mr. Hornet 1959.

After serving in the Airforce, he met and married Paula in 1963. He and his family lived over various parts of the Gulf Coast area, eventually in Cedar Creek. Eddy dearly loved his family and his dogs and spent his retirement years en›oying travel and photography.

Funeral Services were held Sunday morning, March 24, 2019, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Interment followed at Oatmeal Cemetery. Arrangements were by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, Texas.

Pallbearers were Steven Ballard, Mark Crippen, John Dorman, Donald Heine, Jimmie ›aumann, and Scott Perkins. Honorary Pallbeares were Kenneth Cole, David McClellan, and Don ›eman.
