LOIS TIDWELL

Mrs. Lois Tidwell, age 96, of Anton, passed away in Lubbock on March 14, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Anton Cemetery with Pastor Dan Chrestman of Fellowship Church officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care of the Moore-Rose Funeral Home.

Lois was born on October 20, 1927, in Collin County, Texas to Thomas and Nora (Spradley) Talkington. Her family moved to Hockley County when she was two and she would reside in Anton for over 90 years. Lois married James Tidwell on August 7, 1943, in Littlefield, Texas. Lois enjoyed the outdoors and taking care of her yard. She was a devoted wife, loving mom, and grandmother.
