Lisa Allen passed away May 14, 2024. Lisa Jan Fowler was born in January 1961, to Jim and Annette Fowler. Lisa attended schools in Littlefield and graduated in 1979. What a fun person, so full of life and ready for every adventure. Lisa was ready for our Lord Jesus Christ at age 8 and was Baptized in his name at Parkview Baptist Church in Littlefield, TX.
Lisa married Billy Ray Allen in 1985 at the home of her favorite Aunt and Uncle in Houston, TX. Two years later they celebrated the birth of their son, Wesley. These two men were the loves of her life until her grandson, Atlas, laid claim on her heart in 2019. Lisa and Billy Ray owned and operated Allen Insurance Agency in Athens, TX for 20 years.
Lisa loved to read, whether it was a book or the phone. She worried about the state of this country, and you could find her on Facebook urging everyone to be prepared and love their family and their country. She was a Christian woman, but she was full of sass and fierce in her opinions. Lisa leaves behind a huge void in our lives, she loved us, and we loved her beyond measure.
Lisa was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Billy Ray Allen; her parents Jim and Annette Fowler; and the dearest uncle in the world, John Fowler.
Lisa is survived by her son, Wesley and daughter in-law, Sarah; her grandson, Atlas Ray Allen; and her sister, Cynthia Fowler, who loved her dearly all her life. Lisa was loved so much and will live on in our memories until we are all together again.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life Service honoring Lisa at Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, TX on Saturday May 25, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home.
