Lavetta was born May 6, 1945, to Milton and Maggie Wilson in Lovelady, Texas. She graduated from Littlefield High School in 1964. Ron Coleman came into her life and they married March 19, 1965.
Together they raised three fabulous children and created a full life of cotton farming, friends, and family. Lavetta was a quiet soul with a giant heart and a wicked sense of humor. She showed her love with her incredible talent of cooking.
Lavetta is survived by her children, Shannon (William) Buck, Andy (Pam) Coleman, and Jon (Tanya) Coleman; grandchildren, Erin (Luke) Pulido, Cole (Anna) Buck, Sydney (Boone) Mansfield, Ryann Coleman, and Rylee Coleman; great grandson, William Woodford Buck; sister, Merle Harlin; best friend, Robbie Calhoun; and special caregiver, Randy Groden.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Ron; her parents; and brothers.
