LARRY SMITH

Larry Smith, 75, of Olton, died Sunday, January 28, 2024, at his home, in Olton, Texas. Private family graveside services will be held at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Larry was born August 12, 1948, in Olton, Texas, to Ollie and Ruby (Morris) Smith. He was a lifetime Olton resident and a truckdriver. Larry loved driving his truck and he drove for Olton Grain Coop for over 30 years. A man of few words, Larry enjoyed horses, dogs, and was a talented woodworker. Larry posed as the Apostle Thomas for famed artist, Kenneth Wyatt, and his painting hangs in churches and galleries throughout the United States.
