Katie McBride, 34, of Littlefield, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born March 17, 1989 in Abilene, Texas to Bruce Honnel and Antia Bedsole. Katie married Josh McBride March 3, 2022 in Littlefield, Texas.

Katie worked for Lowe's Corporate Office in Littlefield. She also worked in the nursery on Sundays at First Baptist Church. Katie was very active in the Church and enjoyed volunteering her time whenever she could. She loved her Sunday school class, it was rare to not see her smiling face when you entered the room. She enjoyed coloring and would spend hours putting together a puzzle. Most of all, Katie loved being a mom to Kenzley, and she cherished the time she got to spend with her and her husband, Josh.

Katie is survived by her husband, Josh McBride of Littlefield, TX; a daughter, Kenzley McBride of Littlefield, TX; a sister, Laura (Ali) Samadian Zahraei of Lubbock, TX; three brothers, Caleb (Faith) Bedsole of Lubbock, TX, Jon (Kate) Bedsole of Lubbock, TX, and Michael Bedsole of San Marcos, TX; her father, Bruce Honnel (Laurie Breckenridge) of Dripping Springs, TX; her step father, Dale (Kathy) Bedsole of Lubbock, TX; her father and mother in-law, John (Sharla) McBride of Littlefield, TX; and a brother in-law, Jeremi McBride. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Bedsole; and a brother, Ben Hannol.

In leu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to Kingdom Kidz PDO at First Baptist Church in Littlefield, TX (400 E. 6th St, Littlefield, TX 79339).

Celebration of Life Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 12, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Littlefield. Interment will follow in Littlefield Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
