Kathleen "Kathy" Annette Brock, 81, of Littlefield, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born in Sundown, Texas on January 21, 1942 to W.L. "Dub" and Doris Coward. She married Sonny Brock May 26, 1961 in Littlefield, Texas.

Kathy had a strong work ethic and enjoyed working at Britton's Pharmacy, later at J-Bar-N, and finally as a substitute teacher at Littlefield ISD for 25 years. She was high energy and always kept herself busy doing something artistic and crafty. She was a talented oil painter. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and she even wrote poetry. She loved meeting her friends at Stripes every Monday and Thursday. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a fantastic cook. She liked to travel, especially traveling to see family. She enjoyed shopping immensely. She looked forward to her everyday snack of a Milky Way, peanut butter crackers and a coke. She was loved dearly by her family and was affectionately known as "Grandma" and "Gran". She was a faithful member of the Highway Church of Christ.

Kathy is survived by two daughters, Sheri Brock Tooley of Littlefield, TX, and Michelle Brock-Orozco (Jose) of Plano, TX; a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Brock of Littlefield, TX; six grandchildren, Danielle (Chase) Cannon of Bula, TX, Courtney (Finus) Nolte of Midland, TX, Dakota (Hillary) Tooley of Littlefield, TX, Clay (Kylie) Brock of Lubbock, TX, Mikaela (Joseph) Hanshaw of Clovis, NM and Bailey Turner of Plano, TX; eight great-grandchildren and one on the way, Callen, Jaylen and Westen Cannon, Aydenn and Ryker Nolte, Brady and Jeffery Tooley, and Blakely and baby girl Brock on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Brock; and a son, Steve Brock.

Funeral Service was held Friday morning, July 14, 2023 at Grace Chapel in Littlefield, TX. Serving as pallbearers were, Dakota Tooley, Chase Cannon, Weston Cannon, Callen Cannon, Clay Brock, Finus Nolte, Jose Orozco and Joseph Hanshaw. Serving as honorary pallbearers were, Ronnie Pace, Ricky Mills, Lewis Boomer, Bob Edwards, Charlsie Smith, Brandon Pace, and Carmalita Mills. Funeral arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest funeral home.
