JOHN EDWARD POOL

On March 7th, 2024 John Edward Pool passed away in Lubbock, TX at the age of 83.

John was born August 6, 1940 in Morton, Texas. He graduated from Bula High School then went on to Texas Tech University until 1963. He married Thresa Jo Hall in July 1963. They had one child, Todd Pool in October 1964.

After school in 1963 he worked as a custom farmer in Morton. In 1972 he and his family moved to Lubbock to work with Williams & Peters Construction. Then in 1977 he went into business for himself and started a wholesale car dealership, now named Mr. Ts Autos. He and his son, Todd operated the business together until he retired in 2016.
