Iona Francine Andrew, 95, of Olton, TX, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026. A private family graveside will be held under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Francine was born Jan. 2, 1931, in Plainview, TX, to Thomas and Hester (Hobbs) Shrum. She married Wilburn “Andy” Andrew, on Sept. 12, 1948.
Francine was a homemaker and a gifted artist. She served at First Baptist Church in Olton as the church librarian for 51 years. She also taught Sunday school and Girls Auxiliary for 15 years, served on numerous decorating committees, and held several positions in the Women’s Mission Union. She was actively involved in the Olton Art Guild, where she served as president, vice president, and exhibit chairman. She enjoyed crafts such as crocheting, calligraphy, and sewing. She also enjoyed working in her garden She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters.
Survivors include a son and his wife and a son and his fiancée; her daughter; five grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.
