HELEN HURT PATTERSON

Helen (Hurt) Patterson, 93, of Littlefield passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in Littlefield. She was born January 27, 1930 in Cotton Center, TX to Jack and Mae Hurt.

Helen graduated from Cotton Center High School. She married Garland Patterson April 17, 1948 in Littlefield. The couple farmed in the Spade community until 1966, then they moved to the Texas Panhandle where they continued farming until his retirement in 1995. In 1996 they moved back to Littlefield. Helen enjoyed fishing, traveling, and her dachshunds. She was an excellent cook.

Graveside services were held Saturday morning, June 3, 2023 at Littlefield Memorial Park Cemetery with Brian Patterson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Littlefield EMS Volunteer Association (PO Box 1267, Littlefield, TX 79339). Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
