Flotessia "Doll" Kesey Synatschk, 86, of Anton passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at home. She was born November 17, 1936 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Herbert Claborn Kesey and Julia Etta (Kesey) Owens.

Doll married Herbert Louis Synatschk September 9, 1956. The couple made their home in the Anton area where she helped him on the farm. She was a hardworker, also working at Shirley B's and Qwik Mart. Affectionately called "Maw" by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and everyone around town. Her family was important to her, and she enjoyed supporting her grandchildren and great grandchildren in their stock shows and sporting events, teaching them all how to shell peas, and just spending time with those she loved. She liked fishing, going to the lake, square dancing, planting flowers, quilting and crocheting, and tending to her garden and her chickens. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Anton, the 1950's Study Club, and the Ag Boosters.

She is survived by a son, Herman Synatschk and wife, Glenda of Anton; a daughter, Beatrice Carr Belcher and husband, Tim of Weslaco, Texas; a twin sister, Odessia "Sweet" Enox of Anton; a sister-in-law, Beatrice McBride of Missouri; five grandchildren, Daniel Carr and Stephanie of Van Vleck, Texas, Tyson Carr and Kelsie of Van Vleck, Amanda Richardson and Joshua of Anton, Amy Bussanmas and Matthew of Anton and Ashlie Patschke and Alan of Acuff, Texas; eight step grandchildren, Sydney Belcher of Denver, Landon Belcher of Weslaco, Madison Belcher and Jennifer of Weslaco, Holden Belcher and Shelby of Weslaco, Mackenzie Belcher of Austin, Madeline Belcher of Austin, Hudson Belcher of College Station and Walker Belcher of Weslaco; ten great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren and twin girls on the way; and nephews, James and Jana Synatschk of Sudan, Texas and John and Carla Synatschk of Springlake, Texas; and numerous other extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Synatschk, May 20, 1994; her parents; and four siblings, Raymond Kesey, Jessie Whitfield, Jo Boothe and Henry Kesey.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday morning, September 5, 2023 at First Methodist Church in Anton with Rush Coffman officiating. Interment followed in Littlefield Memorial Park in Littlefield. Serving as pallbearers were Daniel Carr, Tyson Carr, Taylon Garrett, Matthew Bussanmas, Josh Richardson, and Alan Patschke.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Anton Cemetery Association (PO Box 413, Anton, TX 79313). Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
