Memorial service for Florence Welch, age 91, of Earth, Texas, is was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 29, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Earth, Texas with Jackie Gestes of Earth officiating.
Florence died Monday, October 17, 2022 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born February 27, 1931 in Lamb County, Texas to Walter Clarice and Maude (O'Hair) Stout. She married Fred Welch in Earth on August 19, 1950. Florence was a loving mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Earth.
She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two sisters, Sybil Welch and Viola Hadaway.
Florence is survived by her two sons, Rickey Welch and his wife, Georgeanna of Lubbock, Texas and Greg Welch and his wife, Kelly, of Earth, Texas; her daughter, Kim Hammons and her husband, Jimmy of Brownfield, Texas; her nine grandchildren; and her sixteen greatgrandchildren.
