DOLORES ABEYTA

Dolores Abeyta, 78, of Littlefield passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in Littlefield. She was born Oct. 25, 1944, in Santa Fe, NM to Casimiro Abeyta and Isabel Ocana Abeyta.

Dolores was a caretaker to her parents, siblings, and nephews. She enjoyed tending to her rose garden. She loved to go on drives. She was an excellent cook, who liked to bake and made the most wonderful homemade tortillas. She was a devout Catholic, who attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Funeral Mass was held Friday afternoon, April 14, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Littlefield with Father Brian Wood officiating. Rosary was recited Thursday evening, April 13, 2023, at the funeral home. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
