Dixie Smith McKee, born in Littlefield, TX, on Feb. 9, 1944, to B. E and Areda Turner, passed away in Inman, Kansas, on May 10, 2026.
Dixie was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She treasured every opportunity to spend time together, visiting, laughing, playing games, or fishing, and creating memories. She was also a well-respected businesswoman whose hard work and dedication earned the respect of many throughout her life.
Dixie is survived by her two children and their spouses; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and a granddaughter.
Graveside services were held Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Littlefield Memorial Park in Littlefield.
Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
