In Loving Memory Of Constance (Lee) Butler

Constance Ann (Lee) Butler, age 89, known by friends and family as "Connie", of Anton, Texas, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 23, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm. on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Anton. Connie Butler will be laid to rest at Anton Cemetery under the direction of the Moore-Rose Funeral Home.
Connie was born on August 20, 1936, to Dr. Daniel S. Lee and Letha F. (Castor) Lee near Guymon, Oklahoma in Optima. She married Charles Ray Butler on December 28, 1959. They made their home in Anton, where Connie was very active in the community.
Connie worked for many years as the church secretary at the First Baptist Church. She was a board member of the Plains Baptist Assembly, a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Anton Cemetery board, as well as being active in the local Senior Citizens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in June of 1980; her sister, Dannie Lee Ihle; brother, Wilson Lee; and a nephew, Dan Swanson.
She is survived by her sister, Lavena Swanson of Arizona; her brother, Paul Lee and wife, Jackie of Arizona; her niece, Linda Greer; and nephews, Stephen Lee and Scott Lee.
