CARON COPELAND THOMAS

Caron Copeland Thomas, 81, of Olton, died Sunday, June 12, 2022, in Plainview, Tx. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Olton Cemetery, under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Ramage Funeral D

Caron was born July 15, 1940, in Plainview, to Ray and Gladys (Malone) Copeland. A graduate of Olton High School in 1958, Caron was a lifetime area resident. On July 25, 1958, she married Sam Thomas. She had a vast love for horses and dogs and she enjoyed raising cattle. Caron took art lessons from Paul Wylie and Kenneth Wyatt and she became a talented artist where she excelled at painting, sculpting, and drawing. She volunteered many hours as an adult leader in 4-H and Boy Scouts and she was an excellent cook
