Brenda Diersing

Brenda Diersing, 75, of Levelland passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021 in Lubbock. She was born on Nov. 24, 1946 in Abilene, TX to Carl Freeman Stella (Rosson) Freeman.

Brenda married Pat Diersing on Jan. 14, 1967. She worked as a beautician at the House of Beauty Salon for many years and then at American Cotton Growers until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, especially in their RV. Brenda loved the outdoors, working in her yard and was an avid bird watcher. She had the honor of spotting and documenting hundreds of birds over the years. She was very creative, loved painting old things and making them new. Known as “Grannie” to her grandchildren, most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Brenda is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Brock and husband, Steve of Littlefield; two grandchildren, Courtney Nolte and husband, Finus of Midland and Clay Brock and fiancée, Kylie of Lubbock; three great grandchildren, Aydenn, Ryker and Blakely; a sister, Gayla Dembkowski and husband, Luger of Bastrop; a brother, Norman Freeman and wife, Betty of Levelland; and nieces, Erika Wild and husband, Jason and their kids, Devin and Logan, Veronica Boenigk and husband, Chad and kids, Bodie and Ryan, Carrie Hanlin and husband, Cary and kids, Kambri, Karson and Kennadi, Kim Jackson and husband, Delbert and kids, Stormi and Tanner and Layton Freeman and wife, Jacqueline and kids.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pat on June 26, 2011; and her parents.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021 at Littlefield Memorial Park with Pastor Terry Sanders officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Clay Brock, Finus Nolte, Luger Dembkowski, Cary Hanlin, Karson Hanlin and Aydenn Nolte. Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
